We’re always on the hunt for bright, diligent and ambitious editorial interns. We look for interns to work in our editorial department. Duties include fact-checking written material, assisting editors with story research and reporting and writing articles. We expect our interns to hit the ground running. We prefer candidates working towards a bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or communications, or students who are active with campus publications or who have a strong interest in a career in journalism or magazine writing, and have the ability to juggle several assignments at once.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, responsible, well read, curious and knowledgeable about the campus and community - and of course, they will be clever writers.
We have three intern seasons: January-April, May-August and September-December.
The unpaid position, for college credit, requires a commitment of 10-20 hours per week, you must have availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as we do not have interns in the office on Mondays or Thursdays.

PR/MARKETING INTERNSHIPS:
Our PR/Marketing Internship is dedicated to getting the College Affair name out to the public. You would be working with the CAM website, college campus and community events, press releases, and many other exciting opportunities. We love highly motivated, creative students, wanting to gain exposure to a magazine setting and learn about more about the business.
This is not a paid internship, but we do offer lots of perks! College credit is highly encouraged. The hours are flexible, but do go along with the editorial intern calendar.

Advertising Sales Exec:
College Affair Magazine is currently looking for experienced, outgoing, and driven individual to join our team as Ad Sales Executive. You will be responsible for prospecting new accounts and building client relationships with previous and future advertisers. This is both an in and out of office position.
Sales reps will have a base plus commission with the ability to earn a residual income.
This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, energetic, and fun environment. The growth is limitless with expansion in the works.
*MUST have prior advertising sales experience!
