How to Tell When He Doesn’t Want Anything Serious…

Signs that he doesn’t want to be more than “just friends”…

1.  He makes no effort to get to know you. Sure, you guys go out for dinner or whatnot, but if he shows no interest in getting to know you, and what your hobbies and passions are, then that pretty much means he’s not really too interested pursuing a relationship or finding out what makes you happy.  If he wants to keep you, he’ll be curious…

2.  He absolutely for some reason cannot make plans with you in advance. I have a guy friend who told me that guys like to keep a girl and her plans on the backburner, until the day of.  They like to wait for something better to come along, and if that doesn’t, then they will take up your offer.

3.  He never questions meeting your friends or family. Unless he’s just extremely anti-social.  Okay, I can understand why someone might be a little apprehensive about meeting the parents and making a good impression.  But there is NO excuse to not want to meet any of your friends.

4.  He only wants to eat and do drinks. And after drinks, he suggests dropping you back off at your house.  That gets old and boring after a while.  What about something fun and adventurous? If he’s all “Nay” for anything else, then there’s no room for flirtations and spending nice time together learning new stuff.  How else are you supposed to explore the option of becoming a couple?  Unless he’s just completely dull or had fun-bypass-surgery.

5.  He acts shady. Like he’s hiding something.  There was this guy who would call me often, but then three minutes after he’d get me on the phone, he’d ask if he could call me back.  That started happening a lot.  Dodgy guys are just annoying.  Don’t waste your time on them.  Grab your sneakers and run.

Ohhh that just made me remember someone.  Dang it.  Maybe next time…
